Date Ranges & Paid Status

Overview #

Across the top of the Performance Reporting Dashboard (PRD) are four sets of controls for manipulating the report charts and tables: Paid Status, Date Range, From (date), and To (date).

The Paid Status control is used to change the types of revenues and expenses displayed in the Revenue & Expense chart and the Orders chart. Users can select from one of four statuses to display: Draft/Estimate, Outstanding, Paid, and Cancelled. The default value is Paid.

Date Ranges #

The Invoice Tool has 19 different date ranges built-in to make reporting fast and simple for the user so you can get back to running your business. The data presented in all reports include revenues and expenses defined by the Date Range, unless a Custom date range is selected.

  • 1st 1/2 Month & 2nd 1/2 Month: refers to the current month.
  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Quarters: refer to the current year quarters.
  • 1st Half of Year & 2nd Half of Year: refer to the current year.
  • Last Year: refers to the previous calendar year from January 1 to December 31.
  • [Custom]: allows the user to specify start and end dates for the reporting time frame.

When Date Range is set to Custom, users will need to specify the starting date in the From date, and the ending date in the To date. Click on the date cell, and a calendar widget will appear. Users can select the month and year using the left and right arrows at the top of the widget, and the date is selected by clicking on the box for the desired day. Clicking anywhere on the worksheet besides the From and To dates will close the calendar widget.

The color of the calendar widget can also be set by the user using the row of colors across the bottom.
